Donnelly Mechanical to Provide Construction Services for Ambitious Bank of America Tower Project
Donnelly Mechanical announced today that it will be installing an advanced HVAC system for two full tenant floors at the Bank of America Tower. The HVAC system will be a factor in the building’s quest to achieve LEED Platinum certification, a rare feat for an office tower.
LEED certification is a standardized benchmark established by the U.S. Green Building Council for measuring the environmental sensitivity of construction projects. Buildings accumulate points by meeting various criteria, garnering them a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Certified status, depending on the number of points they achieve. The Bank of America Tower project, managed by Jones Lang LaSalle, is New York City’s highest-profile LEED construction project to date. |
