Robert Ragozine Named President of Donnelly Sustainable Energy Services (SES)
Donnelly Mechanical Corp. has appointed Robert Ragozine president of Donnelly Sustainable Energy Services (SES), its recently formed division that is dedicated to energy efficiency consulting and services.

The new division helps clients lower their utility costs, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and upgrade facilities. In addition, Mr. Ragozine and his team will offer financial options, such as rebates and tax incentives, which will enable clients to pursue projects that previously may not have fit into their budgets.

“For more than 20 years Donnelly Mechanical has provided top quality, traditional mechanical contracting services, and now we are increasing the depth of our services by offering energy consulting and energy auditing,” says Cathy Donnelly, president and chief financial officer of Donnelly Mechanical. “These services can in turn help identify any number of energy savings projects, such as lighting retrofits, the installation of direct digital building controls, and the installation of renewable technologies, such as solar, wind and geothermal - all of which can save the client money in the long term.

“Robert has worked in the energy services arena for two decades and his tremendous knowledge and expert insights will be vastly beneficial to our clients as they embrace issues related to sustainability and energy efficiency,” adds Ms. Donnelly.

Mr. Ragozine, 46, who has worked in the energy services industry since 1990, has been directly involved in projects valued at several hundred million dollars for some of the most well-known entities in the world. Most recently, he was co-founder and COO of Metro Energy Solutions, an independent energy services and consulting company headquartered in northern New Jersey. Prior to starting Metro Energy in 2000, Mr. Ragozine served as director and general manager for SYCOM Enterprises, one of the largest independent energy services companies in the United States, as well as vice president of one of the largest electrical contracting companies in New Jersey. He is a member of numerous industry-related groups, including the United States Green Buildings Council and the Association of Energy Engineers.

Mr. Ragozine also has an extensive background in finance, having spent many years on Wall Street as an investment banker, and is a former elected official in New Jersey. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Rutgers University.

“Donnelly is one of the few companies that truly packages HVAC and green consulting services, thus providing a seamless process,” says Mr. Ragozine. “We’re an independent, one-stop shop that can review our clients’ entire portfolio of properties, provide the advice and direction they need, deliver the highest quality service and help them save valuable dollars.”
