Donnelly Mechanical Invests in $1M Wind Power Project and Launches Donnelly Sustainable Energy Services
Donnelly Mechanical today became the newest regional provider of sustainable energy solutions with the launch of Donnelly Sustainable Energy Services. In a statement to local media, Vice President Dan Donnelly explained that this new division will provide New York City businesses with “…opportunities for long term wind-based power purchase agreements, direct ownership in wind farms to provide physical hedges that protect them from rising prices, or make renewable energy credits available to them to fulfill goals of sustainability and environmental stewardship.”

Donnelly’s entry into the sustainable energy provider market was made possible in part by advances in wind power technology from Mass Megawatts, the developer of the Multiaxis Turbosystem (MAT) and Wind Augmenter. This breakthrough technology enables wind turbines to produce electricity at lower cost than any other wind turbine currently on the market, making it directly competitive with fossil fuel energy sources.
